“Espace trouvé” by José Manuel Berenguer
Recorded on springtime, 1987 in Sadernes a Sant Aniol, Spain.
“Soundscape recorded in the spring of 1987 with a PCM-F1 / SL-F1 system and two Shure SM57 dynamic microphones in binaural position. In the way of “Sadernes to Sant Aniol”, near Gomarell pond. In the just preceding period the thaw, when the rafts are completely empty. The bare stone reflects the sound in a very particular way that I have never listen to it again. This recording was presented as “Espace trouvé” during the International Electroacoustic Music Festival of Bourges, with the aim to express the objectuality of space evidenced in the perceptual characteristics of the sound objects that inhabit it.”
