“Death on the Stage” by Various Artists
Since 1673 until now.

Through history, many entertainers have died while performing live or while recording a performance. The most famous one is Molière, the French actor and playwright, who in 1673 died after being seized by a violent coughing fit while playing the title role in his play Le Malade imaginaire (The Hypochondriac). Thanks to him, there is a popular superstition that green or yellow colours bring bad luck on the stage because he was wearing them at the time of his death. Since then many people died on the stage and outside during shows by natural causes, killed, due terrorism attacks or fires.
